MOBLE allows an unlimited amount of menus to be created on your website. Uhm, what do you need all of these menus for I hear you ask? Well, let's find out...
HEADER NAVIGATION MENU:
The Header Navigation Menu is the menu that sits in your header. This menu can have multi-level drop-down menus.
It is best practice to limit the number of top-tier items in your header, to perhaps, no more than 6 items in total. Therefore, if your header has, let's say, a Call-To-Action button and a Hamburger menu (two items), then your Header Navigation Menu should only have four top-tier page links. This is only best practice, though it is great advice to ensure that your header items sit nicely within your header. It also ensures that you focus your website towards the priority items, those that are impactful to your business goals.
SITE MAP MENU:
The Site Map is the navigation menu that is used on mobile devices (it usually slides in on mobiles). This is often referred to as the Hamburger Menu since the universal icon is three stacked horizontal bars, that look rather like a hamburger , yum!
Since the Site Map menu is multi-tiered, you can have as menu tiers as you like, it is a great idea to include all of your pages in your Site Map Menu. Therefore, your pages will be easily found. Site Map Menus are great for larger sites and of course mobile devices.
Since menus are so easy to create on MOBLE, there is no reason why you can't include menus in the body of your website pages. At the end of the video, you will discover how you can place menu links anywhere on your website. The possibilities are endless and give your enormous power to help users find what they are looking for. Possible use cases include:
